What's the best way to network with managers to get staffed on a project when rolling off an old one?

Question for media folks on the client side who lived agency life: how much of a difference in day-to-day looks like? How's Work-life balance and employer benefits compare to NYC's top Media agencies?

I want to do a little market research; on how people in this group get updates from their project teams, to fill in status updates?

E.g. tool used, high level process, incentives.

Client Success Manager offer making 95k in SF and I’m not sure if I should keep holding off on accepting. Currently making 75 as analytics consultant in payments industry with 2+ YOE. If I want to eventually exit to Industry X, is it better to work on a project for client in Industry X but not doing relevant work or do relevant work for a client not in Industry X?

IBM is offering me the position of Test Specialist with 7A band but it has offered the position of Senior Consultant with 6B band to my friend.

We both are having 6 YOE in Testing and have been tagged to the same project in IBM.

How detrimental is having a poor performance on 1 project? Will it follow me?
