What’s the best way to set myself up for a future consulting position? I’m a CPA with eight years of tax experience, and I’m half a year into my new FP&A job. It’s going great, so I think I’ll stay a while; however, I miss the client engagement and variety of professional services. I thought consulting would be a good spot. Are there things I should do over the next year or two to set myself up for a better chance of getting a consulting job?

Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP. I have always been an auditor and not to confident if I am to do the work by myself, I can get it all done. I mean I still SAlY when I audit.
