For those that have flown into the city and got a covid test before and after arriving, did you need the result from the first test before landing? I know that the test needs to be within three days of the flight, but the place I’ll be going for the test seems to be getting results returned anywhere between 1-4 days, and I’m worried the results won’t be available until after I depart.

Under normal circumstances (I.e. pre Covid), is it much harder to get sponsored for actually academic courses like MA or MPhil as opposed to MBAs? People might say those are not as relevant as MBAs to business, but MBAs don’t strike me as anything particularly vocational either.

I was up for a June promotion and now am doing the work sans title due to COVID-19 - now with no promised promotion after 2 years as an AAE. Thoughts? Do I find another job elsewhere, or stick it out?

I was due for a promotion but then covid hit, and during the peak of layoffs/furloughs, I was given the run-around that we have agency wide promotion freezes, etc. Over the past month, a handful of people have been promoted. I know everyone's situation is different but I can't help feeling snubbed. How do I know whether they are genuinely trying to promote me and can't, versus them stringing me along for as long as possible? I dont want it to come to having to bring another offer to the table..

For the people claiming Joe Biden is “hiding”. Where do you expect him to go? He’s not going to go throw a rally because he’s not dumb enough to kill his own voters by spreading Covid and encouraging people not to social distance. Where else did you expect to see him, that you didn’t?

Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. I still feel hopeful that God will bless me with the knowledge on how to effectively impact each one of those kids. Let's remember to keep all educators lifted in prayer this year. Have a wonderful school year!! God Bless All❤️

Can we finally agree that indoor office open floor layouts suck and are over rated now? And they should be changed because of COVID. I never want to have them back when returning to office because could never focus and do my work with the buzz around me. It was also a random invitation for co-workers to talk to me whenever they wanted at my desk, which was annoying lol

Been getting huge waves of not wanting to work because I know I’m only in it for the money. Except that doesn’t even feel worth it anymore. Just started a new project that isn’t interesting, but is chargeable. Need some advice from fellow fishes. Oh, to add on, I had a vacation planned for Santorini earlier in April, but was cancelled due to COVID. 😭

I googled this…no pun intended…but what is the policy for covid vaccines? I read on some articles that it is only for attending the office, but I heard from conversations that all personnel are required to be vaccinated even if they work fully remote.
