During filling employement details of Cognizant ( Current company ) I have mentioned Post/Designation as "Senior Associate - Projects" as the same has been mentioned in my Last promotion letter. However as per my BU role has been mentioned as "Sr. Product Specialist -Tech".

In Cognizant both are same ( SA candidate gets Sr.Product specialist role name as per Business unit ).

Not sure if this will create any issue of TCS Onboarding/BGC.

Appreciate your idea/ any suggestions on this.

Applied to a paid media specialist position, well qualified. Was invited for a second round interview but before I could attend they reached out to me telling me they had closed the position because their candidate pool collapsed (they all accepted jobs and bowed out). Now they’re telling me I’ll have to re-apply when they re-open the position in the “near future.” Is this pretty much a lost cause? If I was the only candidate left and they didn’t pick me, what would be the point of re-applying?

I got my green card last year - could I spend some time abroad (2-3 months) without the risk of it being seen as abandonment? In those 2-3 months could I work abroad?

Has anyone done this for a similar timeframe or longer on a green card and still been ok coming back and applying for citizenship when the time comes?

Starting a new job and figuring out WFH desk set up. They gave me a laptop and $500 stipend for office furniture. I have a desk, chair, and iMac for myself. Trying to decide if I should get a second monitor on an arm for work, or if I should buy a new laptop for myself and a monitor I can plug each computer into at the start/end of work. I def want a big screen for personal use but it's tough to fit it all on one desk. What did you all do?
