I recently discovered that I am being placed in a band of 1-2 years in role because I made a switch from operations to product. My colleagues are making 20-30% more than I am and we have similar output. Part of the management perspective is that I have adequate stock value and that switching into product means that I do not have my prior experience packaged into my banding. Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? How do you handle mom guilt? I feel like my 1 year old spends more time with a babysitter than he does me and whenever I'm off work I feel like I should spend every possible mintue with him. I don't feel like I can go anywhere with friends or family because those are precious moments I could be spending with my him.
