How do you feel about Seattle and would you recommend moving here? Considering from DC - primarily for family reasons, although my family isn’t in WA, but it’s the closest American city to them in western Canada. I’ve lived in DC, Boston, NY for a decade, and appreciate good transit, walkability, great and diverse restaurants, etc. I’m fearful that I won’t like Seattle because it’s car-dependent, a bit more homogenous, etc. I love the mountains and outdoor activities but not in winter (cont’d)

I was at a networking event last night and a guy described himself as "worldly" because he's lived in.... Cincinnati , New York, and Seattle.
