Should I add my secondment experience to my resume/LinkedIn profile? I've never seen anyone do this but it seems like something that would be appealing to in-house employers. I’m a junior and I’m miserable in Big Law. I’m trying to stick it out but I wake up depressed every day and I’m regretting my decision to come to a firm. What are the best in-house exit options for a 2nd year at a V15?

Privacy associate, 3 YOE. I’ve made it to the final round of interviewing for two businesses now over the course of the last 5 months or so that I’ve been applying. Am I too junior to be applying? I’m wondering now if there’s something wrong with me as an applicant. It’s discouraging and exhausting to get through 6ish interviews while working big law hours and get a no and I want to make sure there isn’t a fatal flaw with me as a candidate.

I am far along in the interview process for a job I want (meeting with Chief Legal Officer next week), but am still accepting other interviews until I have a formal offer. However, I have an interview scheduled for early this week where, after further research, I don’t think I would be very happy. Should I let the recruiter know that now, or just do the interview for more “practice”? Thanks!

Applying for some in-house M&A jobs, and a big focus is being able to run deals. I of course feel very comfortable running deals from the corporate side and managing multiple teams, but have obviously always had an army of specialists in biglaw. How does this work in house? I’m primarily thinking from a tax perspective — I likely wouldn’t be able to structure a deal (and don’t think many of my peers could either) since we always rely on a tax team, but not sure if that is an expectation.
