Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase

Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

Depends on how big the company is/how long the ramp up period is/how much value you bring. I joined a fairly new team(ie small ramp up time) at a startup and got a raise/new title in 13 months. However the specific team was bleeding people, I had muscled my way to be a key member of pretty much all projects in the team, and the previous senior employee had just screwed up a major project so ymmv
ACN1 - that’s good advice thanks!
In my experience, raises would be pro-rated based on the shorter time-frame with the company.
I’ve never gotten a raise after under a year of being at a company.
I received a 22% raise within 9 months, but that’s probably not the standard.
Plus you can make a case for inflation, if anything!!
