Check your maternity guidelines. I actually get a month before birth off so giving a one month notice would not work at my firm
I told my leadership after the first trimester. More when I felt comfortable that the baby would go to term. But I’d say second trimester is the best time work wise to get everything set up for your departure. Also find out your maternity leave benefits. My work gave me 2 weeks pre-due date off.
Pro
At a minimum, 1 month before your due date. Earlier is better just so you and your employer can plan ahead.
In talking to many friends about it, it seemed most common for people to tell managers after 20week anatomy scan, given confidence in pregnancy going to term / being aware of any potential medical issues. That said if you need more accommodations early due to being sick, or would prefer your privacy, I think that timing can vary widely. I told my boss/HR around then and waited a bit longer to tell rest of my team

From the manager side, before third trimester. Some roles / leaves we backfill with temps, some we make do with adjusting work. I try to bring temp support in at least a month before one is expected to go out and need time to find a person, so the earlier we can think about that the better.
From the manager who gives a damn side, as early as you want or need to share - broadly or confidentially. We will always figure out the work stuff, but this is a big life moment and I don’t want the fear of reaction from work to spoil that, or keep us from supporting you if something goes wrong and cheering you on when you hit fun milestones. You don’t have to want that from work, but if you do, feel free to share when you share with friends.
I’ve been pregnant twice while working for the same company. I normally tell my manager when I tell my friends and family which is roughly end of first trimester. It gives my manager enough time to figure out how to handle my workload while I’m out. For my company we are supposed to apply for leave 30 days in advance.
I let them know as soon as I was sure - in an ideal world I'd have liked to wait until 20wks, but I was incredibly sick and wanted to let them know that I was going to be fine eventually... but also that I was possibly going to keep being pretty sick for awhile.
(Also noting this was at a workplace where people genuinely cared about my well-being and I was pretty confident about their reaction being positive.)
