Hello everyone! I am a rising senior and will be graduating in May 2023. After doing some research, I have a keen interest in being a Global Sourcing and Supply manager for Apple This is simply because I am very intrigued by Supply Chain and would love to be a part of the development of Apple products without heavy engineering. However, I have no supp. chain experience
I would appreciate any knowledge on this career, the typical salary in Austin, TX vs Cali, any referrals for this company, etc

Assuming you left on good terms, it most definitely helps your chances of getting hired. The biggest risk of hiring is hoping you don’t get fooled by a good interviewing, lackluster person. Boomerang hires are a known quantity, reducing risk.
As for being a boomerang, my experience was awesome. Knew most of the people, had a good reputation to the new people and I got to come back at a higher level, ready to go. However, eventually, the same reason I left the first time was why I left again. So, there’s that to consider too.
It’s good for morale to see someone we like come back. Especially if you’re moving back and choosing not only the agency but also the particular city. If it is a smaller city. You’re a hero.
And does being a boomerang help or hurt your chances of getting hired?
Always wondered about this too
