What’s the groups consensus on what could be a misleading job posting? The post below is for a Director level role, but if you read the req. you’ll notice that it’s actually a CSM role with a vague assurance that you may move up to Director… Personally, this kind of stuff grinds my gears.

Currently I have been in tech support for 8 yrs and I want to do something different. How do I go about pivoiting to a Software tester it would be a manual position because I only know enough coding to be dangerous...LOL

Should I stop taking interviews because I just left my old job 1.5 months ago? Only reason I switched was because of the 48% increased pay and I don’t love what I do. I wanna be in a different industry & role and some companies reached out to me to interview and one will pay me 31% more for base and with bonus, it’s 57% more than current pay if I get it. That job really excites me cuz of what I’ll be doing. But I know it’s not a good look if I switch again. Idk what to do. Please advise.

I work in a 4 floor rehab/LTC facility and I can not be everywhere. I am the only IP in the building. I do the best I can but when I speak to some people they are just blaming other people like “oh I saw so and so do this you didn’t talk to them”. I can’t educate or remand what I don’t see. I've had 8 interviews: virtual on-site, team members, a case study presentation panel interview, a surprise chat w/the VP of CS. 2.5 months in the process... Called the recruiter today asking for final decisions, told we've hired a lot in the last qrtr, trying to work through finance and reorgs.
