Hey! What are the occasions you spend your leaves on? I get 31 leaves yearly, and it’s difficult to find occasions for such. I still have 15 leaves left and I don’t want to encash them. I have already took leaves for family functions, my, mom’s and gf’s birthdays, and few for odd vacation travels. What’s next? I’m wfh so there’s no laziness as well because of which I may call sick. What are other things that you guys take leaves for?

Sometimes dealing with judges in Cook County feels like being back in school and dealing with bullies. I’ve grown a tough skin and a mouth that respectfully calls it out (when possible). I know it’s part of the deal. But, I’m so tired of it!

Junior Associate (starting 3yr) v10 in NY and just got an offer for 200k plus 25% bonus (no equity yet) full remote. Small company but growing fast with real investment behind it. No legal team so will be only attorney with path to GC in a few years if it works out. Like my big law job but don’t love it. I feel like this is an opportunity I cant pass up to see how it goes and can always return to big law if I want/need (maybe new firm) but maybe I’m missing something? Am I too junior to jump?

I’m seeking advise from fishers. My brother in law is going to university next year. He was engineering (which is one of the worse decisions someone can do from my experience LOOL). I told him if anything he should do managment engineering which he got accepted to. He also got accepted to Mcmaster- information management systems. Which in my opinion you get a bit of everything! And this degree is picking up a lot of traction’s across tech. More thoughts in the comments
