True story

Analyst -> senior analyst -> consultant -> associate manager (only in tech and ops, not in strat or management consulting) -> manager -> senior manager -> associate director (only in tech and ops) -> MD

No sr analyst in S&C in Europe.

Analyst -> Senior Analyst -> Associate -> Manager -> VP -> Partner -> Deloitte Analyst

Currently working as SM2 at PwC and interviewing with KPMG for a D position. Is is a good comparison in terms of designation? How’s the comp for D in KPMG? T2 city here. I just moved to a foreign country and I am really in need of a job. I applied to a big 4 and spent weeks making it through interviews only to get turned down, because they wanted someone with big 4 experience. How can I get big 4 experience if a big 4 isn’t willing to hire me? I feel defeated.
