Huge variation based on where you are in your salary band, industry, company profitability. That said, if you're not getting promoted, don't hope for too much and you won't be disappointed.

As a consultant, I received a high rating and my raise was almost 3x less than my coworker of the same level that received an average rating due to where we fell in the salary band.

I was 3.4% and my coworker was 9.3% (but my bonus percentage was double)

Has anyone entered law school after 30? My SO (32) has had this revelation during quarantine that he wants to go to law school. We’ve known each other for a long time (7yrs) and know that this is his dream and I am happy that he wants to pursue this. However, I don’t know if I am in a mental, emotional, or financial capacity to support him through this journey. He hasn’t asked. Anyone have words of advice or stories you’d like to share?
