Can’t speak for finance, but consulting is all based on tiers, and ATL is about 2 tiers down from NYC so you’re looking around ~20% less pay, but COL is so low you can still live like a king

SunTrust is huge. Look at Dallas and Houston as well
STRH paid about 20% lower on the analyst level than the BB’s in NYC. But like VP1 said the COL is so cheap you can actually live a much better lifestyle
You can definitely raise a family in ATL, good neighborhoods all around, just keep in mind if you include the suburbs Atlanta is huge, so driving is a must. Why not consider Philly or DC? Why Atlanta?
DC is nice if i can afford a house in a nice neighborhood... Atlanta is warmer and has good food LOL
