What's the journey of a senior member in testing ?
Does it gets saturated at QA manager ?
I have seen most of the VP/Directors/Delivery heads to be from dev background.
Am I perceiving things as they are or there can be journey beyond PM or SPM in QA ?

I am working as Senior Technical Lead and mobile application developer for both Android & iOS and also experiences with using a few frameworks. Total YOE is up to 9 years, now what are my chances of switching my role apart from being an Architect. May be a Technical PM or Product Manager? Which one is better suited ? Bit of a niche topic: I’ve been in TS/SCI processing for a Science/Tech/Weapons analyst position with the CIA for 3 yrs since I finished grad school in chemistry, but CIA positions are sort of set it and forget it since they can take so long. I’ve since been focused on a Patent Attorney track and am with a firm that will support me taking the patent bar/law school. I have been working in a company for 9 years and recently changed it and joined another one.
But now feeling like this was a wrong switch.

Work culture is not at all good, from the 1st day itself I am working like hell here.
Working for 12 hours is normal here. People are asked to stretch there hours (not a request)

Once in a while stretching is fine but daily working for 12+ hours is killing me.
No work life balance.
