Being on the bench is literally the best.
Ever been promoted at your firm while on a project and you have to be rolled off bc your billable rate is higher than what the client has budgeted? Or does your firm find this as an opportunity to renegotiate the SoW?
So many new hires coming in. I just don't get it, with all the layoffs that happened a few months back and a bench so deep..
For those willing or bold enough to share: For EOY reporting are you bench marking against 2020 or 2019 or both? What about for projecting 2022? I’m torn looking at 2020 as an outlier or including both years to be more objective? We had a good year this year and it compares fine next to 2020 numbers. My thinking here is events impact our lead gen and revenue numbers and as we all know this year events slowly started up. Looking forward to 2022 having even more events 🤞 Hopefully no variants
Help! I have a manager that keeps giving me a crap ton of stuff to do knowing there’s no way possible for me to get it done before I roll off. Every time I look around he’s adding EGAs to my queue!!
Based on all the thought leadership coming out of firms lately I'd say the bench is deep all over
Starting week 3 at PwC and I’m still on the bench. I’m networking and doing trainings to fill time but honestly not pushing *that* hard for a project… just enjoying the calm before the storm. What’s the longest you’ve waited before you were assigned your first engagement at a firm?
How does your firm approach RFP responses? Proposal department? Bench resources? Staffed resources? All of the above? Would appreciate any and all information about your firm’s approach.

New to options trading, been following this bowl a while and trying to get educated with courses on options alpha and TD Ameritrade. How many of yall are able to make consistent extra income from options trading? I’m not expecting BC wins but was hoping after some practice for a little side income to make the no raise year a little less painful. Just wondering if it’s more of a gamble then anything except for the exceptional few...
Hello Everyone, If we don't get any reply from Cognizant even after a week of the interview ( neither rejection mail nor mail for accepting the job application) should we consider it as the application has been rejected. Please guide on what time usually they take to respond. Thanks in advance.
Help with an offer at pre-IPO tech unicorn. Current: 112k base, 15k bonus, 3YOE Offer: 120k base, 16k bonus, no sign-on, 70k RSUs vesting 25% after 1 year and 7% each quarter after that. I’d like to ask for 135k plus 10k sign-on since I’m forfeiting 5k bonus and another 8-9k in unvested 401k. Is that reasonable? I’d be ok with 130k and 5k sign-on
