👋 what do you want to know
Deloitte digital might seem like the "fun cool place" but if you don't want to be enslaved by your job you're probably in the wrong industry.
I've heard it's very similar to our digital group. Very smart, fun and nice people. Having some difficulty with winning work and utilization. They were the reason my bonus wasn't what it should've been last year 😞 I do like every one I've met. Our group has been trying to push their work with our clients. We will see.
Very smart people, solid pipeline and exciting projects. Most DD people I've met have been great to work with. It's one of the best service lines at Deloitte to join on the tech side.
Thx all. Is it a little more relaxed than the rest of Deloitte consulting? I'm big on flexibility and am cool with working on proposals etc. but having to perform X number of hours of proposal work or do X number of firm events isn't really my thing. Too much structure and a feeling of being enslaved to my job is what I'm trying to avoid if that makes sense.
Yes and no. It really depends if your skill set aligns to a studio or not. Less firm events/proposals if you are in the studio compared to if you're not. But most likely you won't be studio; and the broader Deloitte guidelines are still in play. The work is definitely interesting and I have travelled the world for my clients which is fun; but I still have to do proposals and firm initiatives.
Agree with DD. It's slightly better than the rest where you can do more eminence than proposals but it's something you can't escape
PwC Digital is hiring as well. ☺️
