Does anyone have any insight into the wlb and company culture at SAIC and Accenture (Federal)? I’m considering tech roles (qa/testing), and I’ve read some reviews that AFS pushes their testers frequently beyond working hours. I’m reading a lot of shining reviews about SAIC, almost to the point of being a little suspicious about the reviews haha

Larger chains usually carry your typical business traveller with the occasional transient reservation on the weekends. Boutique hotels seek out those spontaneous travelers providing a unique experience you won’t find at another boutique hotel. For Marriott for example there’s differences within the brand. JW Marriott and the Westin attract a certain business person while there’s no two autograph collections or tribute portfolio hotels.
The main one is probably the culture. You may feel like just another number at a large hotel chain, while at a boutique hotel, you'll likely feel like part of a family. The staff at a boutique hotel is usually closer, and they often work harder because they have a vested interest in the hotel's success.
I work at Hampton inn suites. I find that we get a lot of wedding parties on the weekends and during the week were filled with business people who travel from all over the world
