Sure you could ask opinions, search Google, those methods are lagging and opinion based. What you should do is find about 100 job opening on LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, where ever. Search for Cloud Security. Gather analytics data on requirements. You need to establish what the demand is in the market. That gives you part of the answer. Now you need salary market data to determine what’s most profitable. You may find average salary for GCP architect paired with CISSP pays high but only accounts for 2% of the roles. You may find AWS architect and Security+ pair well but pays 20% less, but accounts for 70% of the available roles. Create this and report back your findings. I’m also curious.

AWS is probably your best bet. Cloud security architecture tends to pay well.

GCP

Definitely get it in cloud based architecture, pick a hyperscaler and roll with it. The architecture between the 3 isn’t all that different so if you can master one (would probably tell you AWS) you can figure out the others pretty easily. Bonus points/honorable mention for maybe a Cisco or Palo Alto networks based cert

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I joined JPMC last year mid. I was not give any hike last year as I was told that it’s been just few months since joining. I was given a bonus though (1.5 l)

Can you guide me with what % of hikes can one expect for highest rating? Also what’s the average hike % that usually jpmc offers? Also is bonus related to the hikes % or like 2x of last bonus something?
Would bringing in an offer before appraisal affect my hikes to get better?
