Anybody working at Designit ? I got an offer from designit, there are less reviews about designit. Would like to know the work culture and other details as it is part of wipro.

Currently in the US but interviewing for a UK-based firm and role. The comp level they are throwing around is £250k TC. Is this reasonable for a Director-level role with 12 YOE? My comparator would be wait 18-24mo to become a consulting partner - in the US that starts at $450k/£325k. For the purposes of this question, assume I’m optimizing for initial comp, not long term potential, and not livability, Intl experience, WLB, CoL etc. Thanks!

MBB 🐠: I’ve got 3yrs consulting experience at IBM (agile exp.), state school for undergrad, CSM and secret clearance. Do I have a shot at associate at MBB or do I absolutely need to pursue MBA first?

My coach confirmed that associates at PwC will be promoted after 2 years instead of 3 going forward. Just like the other big 4

I shifted from Consulting over to a CSM role and am finding that even though I’m in a better place culture and pay wise, I’m feeling every day social anxiety that comes with a customer-facing role, making me think I’m not cut out for this and that I should move to something more internal, like corporate strategy. My worry is if I make this type of move, a paycut will always have to follow. Has anyone else felt this and can offer some advice?

Salary for senior designer, 6yrs, nyc

I would like to spend a month or little less in NYC to get a feeling for it before I make the decision to move there. Dont have a crazy budget to get a hotel for a month and airbnb fees are stupid high. What other options do I have?

Hi Folks - I wanted to understand..how is H1B 6 years duration counted? Is it strictly by the dates on the petition? In my petitions for example, first one was valid starting Oct 2017 and then I got an extension in 2020 till Feb 2023.. so that just equates to about 5 years and 4 months. So is my H1B only till Feb 2023 or it can extended to allow for the remaining period?

Anyone recently finished, or thinking about applying to MBA programs? Trying to determine if I have a good shot at a T25 + if it’s worth it given my current salary.

I'm a Microsoft Dynamics and C# Developer at a Big 4 consulting firm. But... working with Dynamics for the last 5 or 6 years is starting to wear on me. The salary is great because there is a shortage of qualified Dynamics developers, but I want to do something else, even if that's just back to being a run of the mill C# Developer. Maybe this is more of a rant or I'm letting off steam, but has anybody on here ever essentially gone from a specialized type of roll to more general role?

So I am about to make silver in Delta. New to travel. Will my silver status continue Into 2018 and I'll start working towards gold or will my status hunt start over?

What's your salary account?

Is anyone familiar with the knowledge specialist roles at Bain & Company? I am looking at a Senior Knowledge Specialist role aligned to the strategy practice. I have 3 years of consulting experience at a boutique firm.

Hey folks. I’m resigning from my first job out of college this week. Any tips on things that I should put in my checklist? Save payslips, take advantage of benefits, in-person with EM and Partner, then email to them and HR? Best practices in navigation this would be appreciated!

Hi fishes, Please help. I have submitted pre-interview form sent by EY . I have keyed in 2 information wrongly. What should I do now? Kindly help if you know about it.

Have a friend in need of remote work (kid with bad lung disease at home, doesn’t want to risk bringing COVID home). He has a bachelors and masters degree in math but no formal business experience. What are his chances getting hired in consulting, and what might be the best kind of practice for him to look at?

Looking 2 move into industry but most stats on this forum are 4 USD. Directors/partners in the US make 300K-1M - ones here probably make 200K-500K. What salary range is good for senior industry roles.

I was offered a position at Deloitte for ~26k more than I’m making currently, but they told me that in 2.5 years when the contract is over I will be out of a job. Obviously I’ll be able to network within those two years and probably find something more permanent, so it’s very similar to gig work at BAH. I also just started a new project at BAH last month so I feel uneasy leaving after a month. Can someone at Deloitte give me more insight about PDM work at the company?
