When you roll onto a PMO project

McKinsey & Company Can someone recommend the top consulting firms to look at for HCLS opportunities? Preferably firms with a dedicated BU in HCLS focused on advising as well as project based work. I am currently in discussions with Huron. I have looked at Oliver Wyman (appears to be heavy on payor and Rev Cycle), Deloitte McKinsey & Company and Capgemini I’ve reached out to McKinsey but didn’t receive a reply. Any direction/advice and referrals would be greatly appreciated!

I miss having an expense account.
Sounds like you don’t know how to set boundaries
Our team told the client that Deloitte honors Thursday as holiday and they were totally good with that
Sounds like you have a great client....
Most of my clients haven't had a problem with firm holidays, although retailers are the usual exception since they don't seem to have any holidays other than Christmas.
Look at EY 1 all high and mighty. Thanks to everyone else who understands that client service means serving our clients on non national holidays sometimes.
Is this a joke? I not only will take off firm holiday, but also client ones :)
Nah, set your boundaries. There is always exceptions but you should use your holidays and all of your PTO every year. No wonder people are on here always complaining about being burned out. Work to live not live to work
This (very American) notion that working 24/7 - despite illness, pregnancy, family distress, holiday/vacation, etc. - is a sign of moral virtue needs to be thoroughly discredited.
Perhaps unless you’re the next Steve Jobs (read: 99.9999% of consultants aren’t in that category), working 24/7 isn’t a sign of virtue; it’s a sign of inefficiency, poor priorities, poor planning, or all of the above.
Completely agree with S1. Unfortunately even after expressing that to clients, they often don’t care (speaking from experience today)
