1. She’s not well liked at Accenture and North America did not do very well under her leadership.
2. She is very close to Ted Cruz (her husband was his campaign chairman )
Because Ted Cruz has no integrity and one of our core values is integrity
I never met her when I was at Accenture. She seemed to be a competent GC, but doesn't fit with the Accenture model. She's not run an operating group, hasn't run client accounts. The past 2 CEOs not only did both but we're also admired by the employees globally. I had a lot of interaction with Bill Green and there was rarely a day he wasn't out at a client, meeting our delivery teams, talking with people at all levels. Pierre was similar. I don't get the sense that Julie has that persona and respect. Hopefully she'll keep the stock price up. I think Sander would have been the better choice.
Tbh, i dont know why we are focusing so much on the fact that she is a woman. We should recognize that gender bias is not good either way.
A.) ATK1 ... not sure what imaginary post you’re referring to.
B.) here’s an actual peer reviewed paper. Maybe you should rethink how you approach the literature on topics requiring more than a cursory understanding of the subject matter?

Same as any other CEO of a company that large. Probably a sociopath that left a trail of bodies in their wake to get there.

My personal opinion : having a CEO with Law background does not fit with ACN business
Let’s see
Has extremely little impact on my day to day job
To be honest, IDGAF if a squirrel became CEO because the average employee won’t see the CEO in person anyway .
No, but a bad CEO can help an employee become unemployed
I’m so glad there’s another female CEO. #fightforequality
She’s so sweet!
nobody likes her - bad choice for CEO
Don’t generalize! She hasn’t given me any reason to dislike her. I’ll give her a chance to succeed
don't virtue signal SO LOUDLY PLEASE
she doesn't care about employers. Yes she was head of Na. she cares about appeasing the people that put her into power not about the well-being of her employees.
I'm not convinced that a CEO with no consulting experience was the right choice for a consulting firm.
Wasn’t she head of NA business before this? Why is her law background an issue
Lawyers are great managers but often lack vision due to the very discipline that fostered their legal background in the first place...I say this having graduated with a JD/MBA who's great at squeezing every dime out of what I'm giving...bad at knowing where to bet the money I saved.
99, CEO Joe Forehand
04, CEO Bill Green
11, CEO Pierre Nanterme
19, CEO Julie Sweet
Obviously Notice the mechanical, planned lifecycle nature of the CEO position, it's designed lifecycle especially looking over simply the last 10 years with a single DuckDuckGo search.
I think if she motivates employees who were previously un or under-motivated, fantastic. Appointing a Western European Caucasian Aryan male like myself does absolutely nothing to motivate me personally. I don't get it..... no Elvis dust around a CEOs identity politics. If she can show a steady $boardDemamdPercentage rise in ACN stock price beyond 190 per share, shes done her job.
ACN stock taking a beating at the moment
