What's the range for mid-experienced SM at Big 4 these days (base-cash benefits-variable)? I want to compare notes - recently received a Big 4 offer but they were not able or willing to match my current package (about 95k all in including variable).

It was a decent offer a few years ago when I joined but indeed not that great anymore, especially with the high variable part.

SM range base salary here runs from high-80s to high 100s. 10% bonus and up if you’re doing good, plus pension contributions, plus flex bens. That’s for London at D.

That’d be base

My question is, what does it mean that it’s not a “national network (Is this a national network?: No)” but it’s “network coverage: see any licensed doctor”? Those seem to contradict. Also HSA vs FSA, as a healthy 26yo, which is right for me (High D only has HSA)

Hello, I got an offer from a different firm but they only offered me $15k + more than my current base salary with no signing bonus. I don’t know if I want to accept it, don’t think the increase is that much. I am going to ask for $15k but also check with my current employer if they can match. I don’t hate my current employer and will probably leave for a industry job next year so not sure what to at this moment.

It’s not much but it’s a start and hopefully the beginning of a consistent and successful journey. To anyone going through the same thing, it will get better! We have to push through❤️

I have an offer to start at a new firm 3rd week of January and am trying to figure out timing on when to give a two week notice. For context I’m in consulting and our current projects are wrapping up by year end/we don’t get a busy season surge. I have two weeks of PTO to end the calendar year scheduled, and am afraid if I say anything before the break they’ll cut me off before my time off. Is giving notice first thing next year the best idea given my constraints?
