You will likely come in as a Senior Associate (Post MBA Associate). However, there is huge variation in comp (fund size / vintage / industry focus / geography / other factors).
If you check the employment reports, only HSW have decent placements at VC with Stanford leading the pack. Around 9% of Stanford’s recent class reported their comp are in VC, and their average comp is ~$330k. Other M7 don’t have significant placement numbers but I’d say comp is around $200k-$300k.
Fwiw, I accepted a senior analyst role with 7 YOE, was offered interviews for associate at other firms. Don’t fixate on title, find a team you want to learn from that works in space you’re interested in, your experience will help you grow quickly.
