What’s the realistic comp and position expectation for 8 YOE (4 years industry + 2 Years in consulting + M7) at a VC firm?

Currently at M3 in FDD at a mid tier firm in HCOL( Seattle, Chicago, LA, etc,), should get promoted to a SM this year. Think I’m getting underpaid currently. What realistic salary range should I expect? Also what bonuses have people been getting this year?

Why do people say you should stay 2 years/to promotion? Feel like most good exits these days want solid experience/technical skills and the longer I stay the more pigeonholed I’m getting into generalist/transformation type work. Any reason why I shouldn’t exit ASAP?

What is typical M1 salary in Deloitte M&A tax ? Typical sign on bonus ? HCOL / NYM? Other Big4 for context ?

Hi Fishes, I've got offers from BNY Mellon and Siemens and I'm confused about which organization to join.
BNY is offering me 26LPA (they don't have a variable component, instead they have a bonus component that is not fixed) and QA Lead position and Siemens is offering me 29LPA (total CTC is going 32.8LPA including variables) fixed and the position is Senior Test Engineer.
Please suggest which company will be better to join?
