Parenthon sounds like a fun name for a baby stroller race
To me it sounds more like glorified parenting for clients. Hope one day it doesn't go down like "Parthenon"
Deloitte is known to the general public for Audit/Tax, but to clients we are known for our Consulting practice which has the highest revenue. We have 4 practices: Consulting, Advisory, Tax, Audit that operate like separate entities, with Consulting being the most competitive to get in. Consulting does a variety of work which you can find on our site (Tech Transformation, Cloud, Digital, M&A, Human Capital, Strategy, Analytics, etc.) We are currently sold out, due to higher demand from the marker (thick pipeline) and The Great Resignation. The firm is hiring aggressively. The downside is it takes time for experienced hires to learn Consulting skills and feel like they are not given enough training and explanation of expectation, hence some will struggle. WLB depends on your project, I’ve been content generally speaking. Pay is very good, especially top performers or folks with Consulting experience. We have a ton of holidays (3 days for Thanksgiving, Dec 24-Jan1, extended holiday weekends etc). The PTO is very generous, I usually end up carrying multiple weeks into the new year. We have super smart and ambitious people, but some can be very entitled (you can spot them in this bowl). The upside of entitlement is that it gets things improved. Our firm leadership is great, surprisingly they actually listen to demands and implement them. The CEO held meetings with us every Friday last year, he has a strong team that takes action, not just talk the talk. Someone with business maturity or insight into Talent, would be able to confirm that this level of action to improve matters for employees is hard to find at other companies. As with any firm, you have to network, play the game, put in the hours, and most importantly *manage your own career*. Overall, I definitely recommend Deloitte.
I really appreciate your response thank you!
Throw a dart and see where it lands
People love to circle jerk about this stuff on this app but outside of this app no one cares.
They all have poor WLB (varying by project, of course) and high levels of travel (again, varies by project). EY-P and Accenture seem to be the top of this list with Deloitte slightly after (pay is not as good) and then PWC.
240k ? Which practice ?
Varies by team and project but I personally love pwc and it’s culture. And my wlb is pretty good most days
