What’s the salary range for a senior consultant coming in as a technology strategist at Deloitte? Recruiter told me I should be receiving an offer letter for $120k soon. I have 7 yrs professional experience (3.5 Fed consulting and 1.5 doing IC work). I have a TS/SCI with CI Poly and I can’t help but think $120k is low. Curious to hear thoughts of others.

I'm trying to attend several interviews. My current CTC is <10LPA, therefore even if I switch jobs and am offered a package that is 40%–50% higher than my current CTC, my new income won't be much higher than 12LPA–13LPA. However, I am on the lookout for even better ones. So, if there is a negotiation, can I mention to HR that I already have an offer of at least 12 lpa and persuade them to give me more? Will this ruse succeed? Or will they demand to show an offer letter?
