I am about to get an offer. When I mentioned about having to leave my year end bonus, recruiter asked for documentation for last years bonus. I don’t want to provide that because : 1. That number is not reflective of this year bonus ( I am also up for promotion this year ) 2. They will get to know my base pay What to do in this situation. Please suggest. Thanks in advance
Crossposting here in case anyone knows... I’m wrapping up a project and intend to leave the firm by the end of the month. With no other project on my schedule, will I be able to collect my bonus...
Hi, I have offer from cgi of 8LPA, Can someone tell me what will be the in hand salary .
Is $120k a fair salary for a sr. copywriter at an in-house (non-tech) company. It’s a well known media company and NYC-based.
What’s the gross annual salary range in Hamburg - Germany for senior creatives? Any thoughts?
Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?
How soon can you put in your papers once you get your bonus paycheck without jeopardizing it? Are there any clauses that companies typically have for clawback if the employee leaves within x days? Need to jump ship as I’m exhausted with my job but waiting for the greenback 💰
I have a principal PM offer at a Series C startup for $260k total comp + $150k in stock over 4 years and start in 8 weeks. Part of me want to stop interviewing (I had 4 offers) but part thinks I should continue to see if I get a higher offer. How many of you continue to interview even after you accept?
Hi everyone! I'm looking to emerge into the IT tech field and have recently completed the CompTIA A+ as well as Okta and Google certifications. I currently work in customer service and utilize a lot of tech and SaaS tools but other then training for the certifications I have very little experience as an IT administrator. I just landed an interview with a San Francisco based tech company as an IT engineer, and I'm looking for any interview advice and salary suggestions if I'm asked? Thanks!
For those of you who work in an internal role (procurement, billing, contracts, HR, etc), does your firm base pay on location or is salary the same regardless of locale?
We are an interracial couple White M/Black F. Looking for good areas to live but have heard from few people that some neighbourhoods would be better to avoid as an interracial couple due to certain dislike of 'racial mixing'. Is this really a thing? Did attract a couple of comments when previously holidaying in NY but seems crazy to me that would need to factor this into deciding where to live. Your views are appreciated. Not going to be able to afford expensive areas as on single salary (110k)
Hey fishes, What should be the expected CTC for 2.5 YOE role is API developer. Domain digital transformation.I want to know the fixed compensation

Considering an analyst role at F500 tech company in their FP&A team. Role responsibilities are: budgeting / forecasting, M&A and little accounting work. This role has a rotational focus and starts at 94k + 10% bonus. I am going up for SA this year (2 YOE, .5 at KPMG) and currently make 80k. Should I make this jump or wait until SA for other exit opportunities? Ideally was looking for strategy positions but I see alot of FP&A exits here too.
MBB Southeast Asia or T2 North America?
Think I accidentally discovered this morning that I can add external people to Skype IMing by having them join a Skype meeting.
I wonder if Sima in Indian Matchmaking (show on Netflix) would be willing to fly to NYC to set up a non-Indian person. She’s the real deal it seems.
Anyone feel like the latest batch of new hires absolutely suck? I think not being in the office and not having expectations made clear makes it easy for them to slack off.

Hi All, I am a recent graduate from Loughborough University with a 2.1 degree in MEng Mechanical Engineering. I would love some feedback on my CV attached. NB: This is my one page edition; with more technical roles, I detail out my project experiences. I am interested in the engineering field, including sustainability, environment, energy, renewables, building service, and CFD. Any advice would be much appreciated in how I can leverage myself in these fields and gain some more insight.
The brown shoes post got me thinking about a longtime item on my wishlist: the brown suit. The color looks really good good on me. I know the rule is no brown in town, but isn't there room to question? Office suit colors can't really be limited to navy and grey. Three color patterns I like are the tweed look, subtle blue check, and very rich dark brown. Are people so against the color that someone who looks genuinely sharp can't wear a brown suit at the office?
