Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. Send an office-wide email "peace out, bitches" and leave. It's that easy.
I did relationship partner, HR, then teams/co-workers. I think you could go either way in telling HR or RP first
Yes, HR than your manager/partner...then your team. HR can guide you also. Good luck.
I'd go rp, coach, hr, then team
Tell who you're closest with first whether it's team manager or above, coach or RP. Then HR. I think it's personal preference more than anything
I just turned in my computer this past week. I physically spoke with with my manager/ senior manager/ seniors that were present at the client I was on, then called the managers/ senior managers/ seniors on the other job or two I was on, then sent an email to HR. I attempted to speak to partner/s but that ended up happening days later due to schedule. Physically speaking to people was an approach that was definitely appreciated and I believe mitigated some of the "poor timing" of it all. At the end of the day everyone in public accounting is either gameplannning their exit or knows others are gameplanning their exit. People wont't really hold it against you for pursuing something that is good for you if your are decent and honest about it.
My coach was in there with the group I called.
