I am an aspiring entrepreneur and want to start a business in future for sure. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete, or close to being a start up yet. I work in tech, but a generalist - have done sales, delivery operations etc. trying to get experience in as many areas as possible before I go on my own. I dnt know where to start the journey. Are their any books or other material I can read/reference to think and plan about my entrepreneurship journey. I m in mid 40s based in t2 city US east.
As a new product manager what books should I be reading? I’ve already read Inspired but looking or more. For context, I’ve joined a series A start up and as expected there’s a lot to do and it’s very fluid. I want to be able to help the head of product as much as possible as well as provide some structure to how we work.
Can anyone recommend any business books for - new in house counsel? I feel like I am totally lost when it come to the business side of the company I work for. I work for a software startup if that helps. Thanks!

I recently left public accounting to join a start up. I don’t have too many connections in this world yet, does anyone have recommendations for either articles, books or other sources of information I could use to get an understanding of the startup world and how I can make the right career choices moving forward. - *I’m on the product manager side*
Thanks in advance!

I know my client needs an Accounting Manager. I know this because they’re startup med device company that has their books in complete shambles. The current accounting team isn’t very strong. I'm looking to pivot from consulting into tech. I've gotten lots of interesting from tech companies on the ops side but am much more interested in product management.
Any advice on books or courses to help make the transition? I'm struggling to land PM interviews at companies that aren't tiny startups :(
Considering an exit to a startup that just completed a solid series B. They’re willing to provide competitive comp package and surprised how large the base is for a startup. Has me concerned about being on the high end and being the first person that comes to mind when it’s time to pinch a few pennies or clean up the books ahead of future rounds/IPO. Valid concern or am I overthinking it?
startup Gig Alert: I am looking for a brand designer to join our startup team at Lifelines (truly a startup and we’re not in stores yet). We’re a product company set for revolutionizing how people approach sensorial wellness and I’m looking for someone with holistic experience in branding / art direction with a clear, bold visual style. Around 5 years of experience preferred. But work and personality trump years in experience. Always remote+unlimited PTO. Send me books / portfolios.
Can I open a sole proprietorship doing the books/taxes for my buddy's startup while working at the big four?
Any suggestions (or books or articles) around taking startups from smaller (50-100) to the 300-500 range? Would love to read more about challenges that usually come up at this stage and how people navigate them. I just joined a series C and want to be prepared to navigate things.
Are there any good books to read from a start up perspective? I’ve reading the lean start up but would like some other recommendations

I’m having a super hard time finding a job in pharma R&D, all the jobs available seem to be analytical - I have 4 years experience working in a lab (3yrs at a CRO & 1yr working as an associate scientist on a drug product development team). I got an offer for a senior research associate ($60k) but I currently am an associate scientist in MD making $75k. Do R&D pharma jobs exist in the Denver/Boulder area? Is it me or are the salaries low because everyone wants to live in Denver?

Currently working tax at a Midsized firm, the largest in my city, and we have reached a tipping point where every additional resignation means more work for those left. The firm has only doubled down on old rhetoric demanding people back in office and 55 hrs min a week to get the work done.
This is my first white collar job, and I'm wondering if every firm is like this, if I should jump ship too, or if I'm being a stupid millennial.
Any guidance would be great.

Hi all! I’d love opinions re: where I should be (salary/title), w/ my level of experience.
I’m a Sr. Mktg Mgr in NYC tech with 10 years experience. I used to be a generalist but recently stepped into a user-engagement role, owning all user comms. I’ve been operating as a one-person team and made a large impact this year (e.g. I drove user engagement - one of our key metrics - up over 80%). I just hired a direct report about a month ago.
Any thoughts? Appreciate your input!
Hi, I’m interested in working in the data for startups in the NYC area. I saw this role for eko and wanted to know if anyone would be willing to refer me?

Hi all, wanting to get thoughts about where I should be with salary/ title. I work at a large, successful startup in Phoenix. I started as an an entry level position and have moved up over 8 years there. Most recently, I helped build out our QC team and run a team of 14. In typical startup fashion, I wear many hats, so while managing the day to day operations of my team, I support other departments, oversee process improvements and dabble in project management. I’d love any input re compensation
Hi I’m in need of help!! Does anyone have experience in creating personality/identification quizzes? If so, what’s the best way to go about it? Do you have any tricks or tips on the right way to structure, ask questions, etc. so you create a pathway that leads to customers feeling extremely seen at the end when they see their results?
For example, the 16 Personalities quiz. How do they know which questions to ask to lead you to the right personality type?
I'm updating my resume and couldn't figure out a title for the works I've done.
Here are some of my task/achievements:
+ Build the company's operations team (client-facing + sales) & hiring
+ Managed product release, branding, & development
+ Develop the government, nonprofit, and private market segment of the products.
+ Dabble into some analytics cause I was a data scientist before I joined
+ Coordinate strategic initiatives from the founder and gave feedback on the direction
Watch my series on how to improve your website conversion rate.
