What’s the typical starting salary and bonus target at a large company in-house?

This is phrased way too broadly to be useful. How are you defining “large company?” None of the in-house guys I know have hours targets or firm bonus structures. Unlike us, they aren’t billables slaves.

I think OP probably meant target bonus amount, to compare total comp. You're probably right that it's too broad of a question though.

OP - It is a really general question and the answer depends on the region of the country, company sector, specialty and company pay structure (mix between base and variable comp [RSUs, STI and LTI]). That said I see base salaries range from $150k to low $200ks for entry-level in-house lawyers.

Typically the base will start at $150k in metropolitan areas. If you’re looking at a FAANG company it’ll be more like $180k. Feel free to DM me for more specific info!
