I joined JPMC today as an Associate in Plano, TX. I got another offer at Morgan Stanley (Associate too) in NYC. I like the team at MS better and I have always wanted to work in NYC and would have started looking for opportunities 6-12 months down the line.
I'm on my F1 visa (OPT) and it's my first job ever (also first job in the US). MS is aware of my situation and is fine if I work for a month at JPMC and switch over. But I don't want it to have a negative impact on my career and my future!

Weird idea. Is there a way we could set up like a virtual work room? Like one where we're logged onto something like skype/messenger/Google meet/zoom/ZooRoom/Discord or something where we can all be working at night time, but at least not alone. It would mostly be silent, but misery loves company? I legit hate working alone for the whole day and then into the evening too.

Just received an offer from deloitte human capital practice in dc federal as a consultant coming in at 82K and 2K bonus. Is this normal? What is the pay for a 2nd year consultant and a sr.consultant?

Team I have some questions about primary market research for a drug. I know largely what it is and what it is aiming to achieve, but not sure when companies would do it. Eg does it tend to happen after a certain level of maturity or de risking of a drug, or is it more standard practice for anything in the pipeline. Deloitte Partners - I’m being recruited by Deloitte as a direct admit but kinda hesitant b/c my perception is the mothership is too big that I’d be “just another number”. Is my perception wrong?

I’m a contracts specialist and have been in my role for 2 years. Prior to that, I had 3 years of experience with bidding as well. Any others in the same role care to share salaries? If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB?  Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions?
