FAANG Exit to MBB?
3.5 YOE, Non-technical, 150k TC
Been at Alphabet my entire career post-undergrad. Managed to move from Google to a well-respected Bet where I’m very happy. Undergrad was a pretty general liberal arts degree and haven’t pursued grad school yet.
What would it look like (from a TC + long term career standpoint) to switch over to MBB for a year or two then go back to FAANG?

Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Same story - the good ones are good; bad ones are bad. I guess over time, if you learn to align yourself with the right partners, you get more good ones than bad ones. If you just keep ‘going with the flow’, you’ll keep getting thrown to the wolves.
Variable? I've done 80 hour weeks including weekend work and 3am finishes. This case I'm coasting 50 hours every week. Chill as.
D1 a thats head down working time which includes work in flight. That’s why we fly biz class.
I probably average 62-66 and 55 is the dream.
I average 55-60, but that’s not to say I’ve never been on 60-75 hour cases
I average about 60-65/week.
You can have lighter cases at strategy firms but they are usually not strategy. A blend is nice, sometimes feels good to do an OD in the middle of the mayhem
