What’s the worst criticism you’ve gotten, how did you take it?

Is there any point in having an interview with a company you don't really want to work for? I've been applying to a lot of jobs lately and I'm starting to get some responses, but after looking more into these places, I don't want to work for them. Good practice for the interviews that matter or a waste of time?

I have an experience of more than 2 years in a product based company working as an analyst. I am looking to switch to another product based company in the same domain,i.e, Oracle, SAP, etc. Can anyone please refer me at Oracle?

Trying to apply for another position at the same company but my boss told me explicitly that if they find out people on our team are looking for other jobs, they will stop giving that person raises, promotions, bonuses, & access to opportunities. I have spoken with the hiring manager for the new position and he just asked me if I have notified my current manager. Not sure how to navigate this tricky situation. Was hoping to interview before having to tell my manager that I am applying. Ideas?
