Getting huge cultural shock @tcs..In infy everything was at your fingertips,had apps installed for everything,every process related thing was very easy.. but here in tcs you are touching your ears from behind.Managers,TPDs and persons taking project interviews have no collaboration..They don't even look at emoloyee base location while calling...Not expected from a so called IT Giant ..

Hey. Nagarrians, i heard from a friend, people joining recently have been on bench for past 2 months and have not got much project calls.
And a few being given pink slips who dint get project for 3 months + failed any client interview.
Is it true? If somebody dsnt get any allocation in 2-3 months, will he be asked to leave??

Quess Corp. had scheduled some interviews for me with MasterCard which I've already cleared. Quess people are saying I'll be under Quess payroll but will actually be working for MasterCard as client and after 6 months MasterCard might take me on their payroll by evaluating my performance.
I'm just worried because I haven't heard much about Quess.

Might have just made myself look bad, but I’d have done the same thing over again. Started a new client (finally thank God) and was supposed to be the only 1 staffing it. Found out an overseas person was allocated. Reached out to manager/partner - they didn’t realize and both made bad comments about them. So I asked… if I had to work with them. They planned for me to do the engagement alone anyway, and why would I want them if they clearly don’t either?

Toxic partner who is tech illiterate just chewed me out because I didn’t know why an email from a paralegal didn’t make it’s way to the client. It’s been the partner’s case for two months, I’ve never heard of the client, and had not seen the email from the paralegal because I wasn’t cc’d. It took every ounce of self control to keep from telling her I’ve already accepted a partner position at another firm but I just couldn’t forego seeing the look on her face when I tell her on Friday.

I was interviewed two weeks ago in TCS. It was project specific recruitment drive.

Till now no response from recruitment team. I have followed up via email as well. How can I check the status of the application as in iBegin it is showing nothing.
