HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (74k package) (or) should i make a switch immediately. ?

I added my kids when they were 16 so that they could buy gas and cover emergencies. I thought that 16 was the youngest the card brands allowed. Before that they had debit cards tied to their checking accounts which I was co owner on.

My parents did the same thing and added me when I was 16 to their card. I ran errands for them, so it was helpful.
They get the full history of the card no matter when you add them.
I was added at 15. They key is that the bank must also report authorized users on the payment history for the report. If they don’t do this, it will have no impact on their credit history - unreported status = no status. Be sure to ask about this if your intent is to build a history.
^ this is very important. My parents had added me to theirs right before I went to college, with the intent to build my credit history, but I had none until I graduated and got my own.
I added my 7 and 6 year old earlier this year.
Add them at 8 or 18 and it has the same effect. I’m 34 and my oldest account shows as like 32 years old bc my parents added me at like 16. I do think it’s important not to remove them but only take the card later, as that drastically affects account age if that drops off later.
I added my daughter before she went to college
I think I added someone at 16. I’d do the minimum age the credit card company allows

My parents added me at 13.
Depends on the maturity of the kid. My parents never added me to their credit card, I had a job starting at 15. If I couldn’t manage that money with no bills, I definitely couldn’t handle a credit card.
I got my own credit card when I was 18, the summer before I left for college
