What’s to stop people from just not showing up to work and ghosting everyone instead of quitting? Wouldn’t you just get fired and at least receive a termination package?

The partner in charge of my office had a nearly hour long conversation Tuesday with our new hire, behind closed doors. I didn’t hear yelling, but the bits I heard weren’t good. Will he be fired?

Mine was $16k (minimum wage before joining corporate) > $40k (contractor total before getting laid off) > $150k (current FT)?

Is that a 260% jump or 2.6x from $16k to $40k?
And a 375% jump or 3.75x from $40k to $150k?

Or do I calculate it by hourly rate?
