What's up with people farming for key personnel resumes? Can you set up compensation for this? I don't understand why anyone would just give a bunch of companies their resume for bids and get literally nothing out of it. Why waste my time helping some random company win a bid?

Good Q. For our 1-3 year people, it’s a 1 hour 2 staff interview. Everything above that is about 2/2.5 hours with 4-6 practice leads/senior staffers and our GM.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

I never get bites, so my motto has just been, well, might as well apply, regardless of pregnancy. But I just got an interview invite to one of my top pick firms! Any advice on how to handle it? What is your company's policy regarding jury duty? Is it paid or unpaid? Do they require you to use PTO for it? I work for a small government contractor (under 100 people) and they do not pay for those hours. My last company (under 20 people) paid for that time. I'm a bit conflicted. If you're called for duty I think it's your civic responsibility to serve and should not be shirked but I'm surprised by my company's policy. Appreciate any sharing of other jury duty experiences.
