Yes, if a team wants you badly enough, both teams can agree to waive the 18month rule.

Thank you guys so much. I was hard-sold a role less than a year ago and I want to get out. Another team is interested in me so meeting them to discuss. Thought I'd still have to wait 18months but hopefully it works out.

It’s a policy for transitioning within the company, they don’t want you to transition until you’ve been in your current role for 18 months.

Hi all, I have a thought don’t know whether is right or wrong but expecting ur suggestions on it. I got an offer from an product based organisation and package is almost among the market standards YOE:8 Tech: Data engineer. Offered CTC: 40lpa. Current ctc: 19lpa. But my expectations was 32lpa. So I am satisfied with the offer and role. Now my question is do I still need to look for other opportunities or stick to this one.
