Anyone know how MBB differs from big 4 consulting for growth strat projects? Also in terms of compensation?
So how much to partners actually top out at? I've heard they start at 300-400ish but I can only imagine it going up from there, especially if you make partner in your 30s and retire at 62. (Non mbb)
If MBB is tier 1, and the big 5 are tier 2, where do AT Kearney, Oliver Wyman, LEK, etc fall in?
Consulting firms should just kick everyone out without an MBA -- be more like MBB. Also, shitty, peasant MBAs are out too.
What do junior partners (2-3 yrs as partner) at Deloitte S&O make all-in? What is that figure at MBB, PwC, EY?
How would you feel about doing your current job but not traveling to client site? For people across the consulting spectrum- MBB strategy to more operational roles.
Anyone here know about the SHL? Friend of mine applied to MBB Healthcare Analytics practice and has been asked to take this test. Thanks in advance
Went from MBB consulting to M&A (mostly sell-side). Considering PE next (either operating or investment). Haven't really worked with sponsors too much. Which firms should I look at?
Other than Deloitte HC and MBB what are some other good firms that do change management/org transformation type work?
MBB entry level to 2 years into the job types, how frequently do you work one on one with partners?
Has anybody jumped or tried to jump from Big 4 to MBB? Can it be done without MBA? 2nd year senior associate at Pwc here with 4 years at the firm.
Will you go back to BSchool if starting out undergrad as MC associate in B4 for MBB and when (before/after promote senior)?
Been with big4 since 4 years now ,M1,want to switch to mbb, got an MBA very early in my career so the school is average. Will I need another MBA to make the switch?anything else to ease the transition?
Looking to network with MBB for potential lateral. Better to reach out to partners in different markets who are friends of friends or reach out to my actual BA contacts in my home market?
What sorts of non sales jobs/companies should I be looking at with Series 7 licensing? I have my 66 as well and wouldn’t mind having a few clients as well. Unsure if the pay for these non sales jobs would be worth working around places where I could keep the licensing I worked hard to get . Thanks!
Anyone work in the public sector of Guidehouse ?

Wishing my friends and family a happy new year and telling them I can't wait to see them come May.... literally how is it January?
Here’s a fun Friday night game: let’s see who owes the most in loans after law school! For those of you who have paid them off: how much did you have, how long did it take you and how did you do it?
Have anyone used an interior designer before? What was the average cost or bill rate? My sister hired someone (who works at a firm, but she is doing this “on the side”) and the designer just sent her a bill for $6800 for picking out 10-15 light options online (not procuring them), picking out 2 cabinet knobs for the kitchen, and helping select tile for a bathroom. She even charged her $1200 for “researching cost savings opportunities” for the cabinet knobs and lighting. We’re stunned by this
When an offer includes "up to 15% bonus depending on company's performance (finance)", is it ever guaranteed? Should I be including that 15% as part of my total compensation? Safe bet?
Those of you in serious relationships or marriages, how much weight do you give your partner’s opinions on career decisions such as taking a new job?
5 days to go🙄😁

I’m getting texts from my Director past 10pm on weekday evenings. What do you do to set boundaries with your leaders? How do you let them know that you are in their corner, while still setting boundaries?
Do you have a framework for unlearning habits you've built over your career and maybe don't lead to maximum productivity.
Is Rethink not even trying to make these seem real anymore? A lot of engagement from people with handles like "placeholder"...
