What’s usually the top choice consulting firm after MBB in M7 programs

Anyone know how MBB differs from big 4 consulting for growth strat projects? Also in terms of compensation?

So how much to partners actually top out at? I've heard they start at 300-400ish but I can only imagine it going up from there, especially if you make partner in your 30s and retire at 62. (Non mbb)

If MBB is tier 1, and the big 5 are tier 2, where do AT Kearney, Oliver Wyman, LEK, etc fall in?

My sister hired someone (who works at a firm, but she is doing this “on the side”) and the designer just sent her a bill for $6800 for picking out 10-15 light options online (not procuring them), picking out 2 cabinet knobs for the kitchen, and helping select tile for a bathroom.
