Highly depends on org. I used to work at Google in stratops for 2 different teams. First was very high growth so maybe 50hr weeks. Second was ads so very mature and slow.. probably worked like 15-20hr weeks.

Am on corp strat team at Cisco. Extremely low burn.

Would assume also heavily dependent on team size and organizational focus, e.g I’ve been in Strategy / Corp Dev for almost three years with no deals in first two and on track to close 5-6 tuck ins this year. WLB definitely worse this year for sure.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

What is the solution? Provided I don't want to switch & increase salary just to provide more tax to govt or the work may increase more too.
I need 100% job stability, which only PwC can provide.

Anyone have any experience with working full time and completing a full-time MBA? Is it possible? If so, any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

I terminated a former employee for consistently missing deadlines, v. poor quality of work (basic spelling mistakes), costed me $500k in errors and subsequently called him a “bottom-tier performer” to my girlfriend. Girlfriend thinks I’m being mean and not kind by calling people that because she thinks I’m putting them down. Note: never called any other team members that because they do good work. I don’t think I’ve said anything out of line - am I in the wrong here?

Would love insight from current or former BAH folks

Food for thought: the US is actually one of the most racially conscious places I’ve ever lived. Not saying we don’t have a LONG way to go and that there isn’t immediate important work needed.
But the amount of allies this movement has is incredible. Keep in mind this is just my experience and may not represent others- however, in many of the other places I’ve lived or traveled to, racism is almost tacitly accepted. You wouldn’t have people calling out taxi drivers for ignorance for example
