What are the most well respected professional certifications for a career in finance? I have a background in FP&A, cloud/IT finances, mortgage analysis (reverse and forward). I’ve been successful on every project so far but I find myself being drawn towards the worlds of M&A and PE so I’m thinking CFA would be best primer for a career in those. Currently a SA with 4.5 YOE. Thanks everyone. Any personal feedback on what life was like before/after obtaining a certification would be helpful!

How do you teach a 4 yo when they start to lie? Today, my kid quickly put his lunch back into his box when his teachers turned around and lied to his teachers that he finished his food. They were even praising him on how quickly he finished his lunch today. And told us also that he finished all his food as well.
Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . Should I be asking for more $? Thoughts on the offer and how much more $ I should be asking for ? Current location is kinda irrelevant since I will be working remotely.
