What's your acceptable raise % with rating 1/2/3? (Please don't troll on this thread...) looking for realistic expectation.

If you want realistic numbers, just wait for 3 more days. No one knows what these numbers look like except some partners. And they won't divulge it on a public forum like this. So my answer is 2.76%! No more and no less!

Got a 4 here, no raise/bonus but I'm resigning tomorrow b/c I have accepted an offer with 20% raise and $10K signing bonus :)

D4 - You got a 4? glad you're gonna be someone else's problem

2-3% has been pretty standard recently for 3s. 2s around 5%, 1s in the 5-10% range depending on level, current pay, etc. Maybe a little higher % at lower levels since you're working off a smaller base and there is less variable comp (AIP).

like

3,2,1

Acceptable: 6,5,4

D2-maybe I didn't post in right wording. I am not looking for the number on comp release on 28th. But more concerned about existing path. Say I am looking at other job offers and last year my raise is 2.1% at C1 with rating of 3. This year in three days, I bet it's not gonna be more than 3% with same rating. So am I getting too low raise or I should look out somewhere else.

like

Awesome D3- congrats!! How long have you been with the firm?

like

Last year heard 1's received 13% base raise. Similar to what D4 was saying

like

@OP, I've been with the firm for 9 years :)

like

For me. It's been all over the place for the past 4-5 years. Anywhere from single digits for a 2-1 to 20%+ when I was promoted to M.

like

Level please

Hahahahha I got 1 and a 5% raise so no.

OP - there is no answer any of us can give you without all your information. What is your current salary? How many years at the current level? What is your performance like? Are you a middle 3, low 3, high 3? What arrived line are you in? There are too many variables for anyone to give you a good amswer

As someone who has only worked at EY and has no other work experience or “passion,” how do I begin looking? I’m in my mid twenties and feel like work is my life. I think I’ll be satisfied with six figures for a while, which I’d be pretty close to after my raise in October anyways, and 40 hour work weeks.

Salary in interview. I was asked about my salary in an interview at MBB. Say I was currently receiving 70k fixed + 22k bonus. I told them "my salary is 100K including bonus". Can this little round off hurt later? The interviewer was basically asking me how much I am expecting and I told him industry standards. Kept pursuing it. In end he said just give me sense of your current salary and so I rounded off.
