Has anyone ever used the MMF or MMP codes when booking Marriott? Do they actually ask for the Explore Rate Authorization form upon check-in? Can’t I just bypass the check-in desk and do the mobile check-in?

Whenever I want to travel my mom wants to tag along and if I hint that I want to go alone or with GF she throws shade and comments that make me feel bad for not wanting to take her.
