Why so much hate for Tag?
Getting gifted a Hublot (be nice 😑). It's listed at $10.8k but on Chrono24 I'm seeing brand new ones (box and original papers etc) listed around $8-9k. Any ideas why the difference in price ? Is it worth buying from my local AD to "build a relationship"?

Would add Tudor Pelagos to those mentioned above if you like that shade of blue. It is Titanium and super light compared to other SS options.
My favourite and own one is the tag or Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen. Such a beautiful watch and looks great on a navy suit or wearing casual.

Haha, dive with it? I don’t even wear it these days! But that’s only because I have too many watches, haha.
I payed a hefty premium for this watch a few years ago, since it’s literally unpolished and basically NOS, but luckily the market value has caught up (possibly surpassed) to what I paid.

Yes, they have standard micro adjusts, not tool free like the glidelock though. Also have a wetsuit extension for the 0.1% of people who actually dive with dive watches.
Really don’t know why more brands don’t have a tool free one, seems so simple and living in Florida I would love it.

Christopher Ward’s Trident Pro in blue is a darn good looking watch to me. I like this variant with the black bezel.
I like how CW evens out the date window by putting their brand on the other side rather than the bottom. It gives it more symmetry

@D1 - they’re definitely more than they used to be but I think I want a little finesse. The JLC Polaris and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms (both too big for me) are also north of $10k.
Really want a zenith defy. That blue dial is sexy.

Oh wow, I forgot one of MBG's favorite big brands. Oris makes a ton of good looking blue dial divers in the Aquis line. I'll show a bunch here, starting with what is probably my favorite, the Carysfort Reef Aquis.
