How much does the essay score matter on GRE?
Nothing matters unless it’s bar pizza. Lynwood in Randolph, Town Spa in Stoughton, Crisp in Walpole, Pizza Tyme in Norton, Ultimate Pizza in Easton. Few other gems around the South Shore, too.
Love South Shore bar pizza. Lynwood and Town Spa are the two best that I’ve tried.
Pinos is best casual, “let’s pick up / get delivered a pizza” type pizza - best cheese slice in the city. Best straightforward pie is Santarpios (recommend the sausage and garlic). Best “fancy pizza” is either Picco or Area 4 ( have heard great things about Brewer’s Fork but haven’t been). Umbertos is in its own category but is worth waiting in line for. Reginas is incredibly overrated. Ernestos is great for slices with toppings (cheese only is sub par)
Absolutely spot on right here
Short 3-4 hour drive to NY or NJ
RSM1 that makes two of us, brother. New haven apizza over EVERYTHING
Picco in south end
Figs in Beacon Hill
Rising Star
I tried Figs recently and couldn’t finish it. Super dry and poor distribution of toppings. It was the Fig Pizza, which you’d think they’d be sure to get right.
Coppa
underrated neighborhood joint I haven’t been to in a bit is Woodys in Fenway by Berklee
Second woodys is very underrated
Also regina’s in north end
Taco Bell
Dirty water pizza dough, Ernesto’s , Ciao in Chelsea
Umberto’s in the North End. No place else touches it
Oh and Santarpio’s duh
Santarp’s
Bowl Leader
Regina’s (North End) has to be my winner for a classic slice.
If you like Neapolitan pizza, Pastoral gets my vote, but don’t sleep on Eataly (though note the distinction between their square by-the-slice pizzas and their round Neapolitan ones).
Area Four by far.
Otto
MAST downtown makes a good pie. For bar pizza in Boston without leaving Boston, Hot Box is ok.
MAST 👍
New town Grille in porter square. Great beer and pizza deal
Fun trivia night too
Santarpio’s in Eastie, the original Pizzeria Regina in the North End, Otto (several locations) are all great. Of course, there is a truly unique Boston experience - a short drive to Randolph for a Lynwood bar pizza. Order it with foil bottom and “laced” edges.
Yup. Except Randolph is 20 minutes. Theres a new app called Google Maps you can download. It might help with you geography challenges.
MAST is almost like having a pizza in Napoli
