Haile (Ethiopian) is really good. Go with a buddy, get 1 meat and 2 sides each. I recommend the chicken and the lamb

Veselka - borscht, fried perogis & a chocolate egg cream. Classic. (they also do a solid omelet if you go for brunch)

Have you been to Essex martlet? I’ve only been to one stall but it’s a fun walk around

Every time I've gone it's felt super depressing and empty.

It’s been a while since I lived there and many of my old favorites have turned over, but a few that remain:
1) Veselka - already got some love above, but definitely an institution
2) Lavagna - intimate Italian spot, good for dates
3) Supper - also Italian, maybe a bit noisier / better for groups if I recall

A couple of places I enjoyed more for drinks but did have good food as well:
4) Bua
5) Grape and Grain

Thank you!

Has anyone had experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors? Most of my experience in college was with nonprofits but I’m currently working in corporate retail. There are a lot of things I miss about the nonprofit sector and I am considering about making the move back but want to weigh my pros and cons. I am one year out of grad school so any knowledge regarding how to navigate the workforce as a newbie is welcomed. Thank you!

One item borrowers shopping for mortgages get too caught up in is rate. Most borrowers don’t know how to read a loan estimate and get taken advantage all the time. Just because a lender/bank offers you a low rate doesn’t mean it’s best deal. Most cases, especially now since rates have gone up, you are being charged points for some of these lower rates in the 4s. If you don’t know or understand discount points feel free to shoot me a message and I can help you review estimate and see if can beat
