I really do love a mac n cheese. And that coupled with the turkey and gravy and a roll just makes my heart sing! 😆

The secret to making it stand after cutting it, two beaten eggs stirred into the pasta and cheese mixture before you dump it in the pan.

Jollof rice, plantains, fried goat stew :)

West Indian style rum cake?

Omg so much to choose from. It’s like not one specific dish but the combo of turkey/ham, sweet potato’s, mac n cheese and greens all together on the plate is heaven

StoveTop!

How many of you eat your food for Thanksgiving? I never thought about it much, but my parents grew up in the Caribbean but we don't have a single Caribbean dish for Thanksgiving. At best it might be Caribbean style (like potato salad). And we do do some Caribbean breakfast foods. But the actual dinner is mostly American.

Yams

Question: how many in here brine their turkey?

Is my family the only one who does a oven stuffed chicken and ham?

Hi Folks,

Is it possible to reduce your notice period in Cognizant.
My notice period in Cognizant is 90days and joining date for new company is 1 month prior to my notice period.
Is there any option to reduce my notice period?
Or it is possible to ask my new employer to extend my joining date for another 1month.

I accepted an offer from TCS and later got a better offer from another company. Now if I refused to join TCS, will be able to join TCS later in my career? Asking this cause I heard ex employees can't join back as there was a policy change. Technically I'm not still a TCS employee yet but just asking to make sure. Thank you.

Currently building a house, 6 months to go and have down payment and a little more in a HYSA. Is it wise to put the remaining in an S&P 500 ETF to capture some of the bull market or hold onto cash?

I have an offer of 25% hike upfront and some hike 6 months when probation period is over (this is agreed verbally but gut feeling says they will give it). My current company agrees to match the 25% hike only but with one year commitment or refund of increment. Work culture is good in current company. Any suggestions?
