Anyone have office drama? I started with this company, I unknowingly walked into a poop storm of drama. There are two team members who avoid contact with each other at all costs. And there are people talking about both of them. I have respect and empathy for everyone on my team. I genuinely like all of these people. Both sides have good points. Our manager will not address this, they believe we are adults and should just work it out. It interferes with work. Any ideas?

I’m in the final rounds of my interview process for a NYC Hedge fund, non tech role. The recruiter mentioned the compensation package is bonus heavy which can be multiples of base salary. Though they will guarantee a full bonus (sign on + year end) for my first year. 300k target

My current role/company is salary focused so I’m out of my element negotiating the bonuses.

What type of questions should I ask the recruiter about the bonus payouts? Vesting?

PWC offered 23+2JB+2(assuming bonus at 10%) for 5yoe. And I'm getting 27-28 from other service based companies. However I'm confused if I should go higher fixed ctc or brand name, ie PWC. Thoughts?

Our general targets are 75% util. Billable or qualified non-billable time. Bonuses will be $1000 per quarter just meeting that. $25/ hr for every billable hour beyond that on top.

Returning from work after a year of mat leave (Toronto in-house at a BIG company) - can I expect my salary to increase as though I was still working over that year? (Regular increase, obviously not expecting a bonus. Am hoping to get something to keep up with inflation but I don’t know if that’s standard.)

This past year I’ve been feeling especially burnt out. Briefs are taking longer to click and it’s a struggle to come up with creative ideas. Even when I come back from a few days off, I find myself unable to focus on even the smallest project.
