Worked as a paralegal during law school. Passed bar. Current job is offering a 92k salary in an area of law I do not like, like AT ALL.
Applied to a small firm on a whim. Interviewed, LOVED the vibe, the managing partner & associate BUT its quite low 65k..I really could see myself in a place like that but sadly I have kids to support and with the current economy, cannot take a paycut. Feeling like the jobs I like are lower paying while the higher paying jobs are in areas I could care less for.

Getting married in the Caribbean end of February. Going absolutely nuts with the range of my RSVP emails. Young people “can’t wait, so excited!!!!”, old people “too afraid to travel”. If it were in January I’d prob postpone, but I kinda feel like end of Feb might be ok? And who’s to say if I move it there won’t be another variant. Hi all! I currently live in LA but my wedding next year will be in my hometown of Chicago. I plan to go wedding dress shopping soon in both LA and Chicago. If I find my dream wedding dress in Chicago, I’d like to order it to be shipped to a store in LA so that I can have my fittings throughout the year without having to travel back to Chicago. However this also means I would have to fly to Chicago with my wedding dress. Has anyone been in this situation before? If so, how was the experience?

We’re getting married next spring and trying to put together our website.
Many weddings we’re attending this year have some sort of Covid-disclaimer on them saying “please have a negative PCR test or be vaccinated beforehand” (paraphrasing), but it’s the honor system, no one is checking.
For 2022, is that type of language necessary? Vaccines will have been out 1 year. The state we are getting married won’t require it (southern state), it feels like it’s on the individual wedding to say (or not).

Do people typically propose with the diamond ring at the time when they propose? I want to propose in the near future as I'm fairly committed but it would take me some time to save for a nice ring (+ wedding to follow) - any suggestions?

I ordered save the dates but my guest list wasn’t finalized when I ordered them, so the envelopes they came with aren’t pre-addressed. I’m kicking myself a little because now I either need to hand adddess them or print stickers, and neither of these options are going to fit the formal look I’m going for. Any suggestions? Can I print addresses directly on envelopes?
